Hello everyone! For those of you that have not made your way over to check out my book on Wattpad yet, I wanted to let you know that the prototype is completed and available for free reading!

Once I figure out how to change out this old book cover and add in the new one that includes the series logo, I will put out a new blog for everyone to check out. My editor and I are still at work on the final revision that will appear in the Kindle version that will include lots of extras not available in the free Wattpad version.

In the mean time, here is the link that will take you directly to where Blood and Fire appears on the site:

https://www.wattpad.com/story/37961978-blood-and-fire

Please, if you do get a chance to read the book and like it, remember that you can vote on each chapter. Also, if you catch some of the remaining errors that have not already been pointed out by other beta readers, please feel free to do so in the comment section. If you could include something positive with your criticisms, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you and happy reading!

ReBlogging – What’s That All About?

19 Sep

Never thought of it like that. I just usually reblog to help my friends out or if I really like something that I read on someone else’s blog.

Dan Alatorre - AUTHOR

There's even MORE shit I have to do? There’s even MORE shit I have to do?

While you are building (or expanding) your platform, it’s a great time to polish, edit and add or delete whatever you want added to or deleted from your book. Plus, a lot of the time we have to make choices about what the blurb will say and what the cover needs to look like. Bouncing that stuff off a bunch of Facebook author page friends or Twitter followers or Blog subscribers is a great way to see what the feedback is – and spend no money to find out.

Part of the way you increase your base is by adding people as followers on Twitter, Facebook, and your blog, or whatever other social media you like doing. Most of you have blogs, so let’s focus there.

That's how it feels, yeah. That’s how it feels, yeah.

Look what happened when I posted and tweeted about my…

9 Sep

Suddenly they all died. The end.

Promo_Banner_AWB_Anthology

That’s right, my lovelies, it’s release day at long last!  Starting today, you can get A World of Their Own to have and to hold, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do you part.

AWB-AWOTOOddly enough, those last two bits have had a profound impact on the making of this book.  A World of Their Own is dedicated to great friend, fabulous author, and beating dragon heart of the Alliance of Worldbuilders, Lindsey J. Parsons, who died unexpectedly in January 2014.  All proceeds from this book will be donated to the World Literacy Fund.

So go on, buy a copy for yourself, your friends, your family, even that baby down the street.  Literacy is not just a privilege – it’s a right.
